Why do guys pee on trees and not on the ground or something? I've asked this question many times and I mostly get stupid answers like:

- it's just like it is; men are born like that;
- men piss on anything, including trees;
- men are trying to be tidy.
- it's to prevent others from walking through their pee.

Some answers make a little more sense:

- it's fun for a guy to watch his pee running down the tree;
- it's to cover up and being decent;
- it's an animal instinct to mark his territory;
- it's cool to pee outdoors;
- it's something to aim at (guys are used to aiming at something while peeing, like the toilet bowl).
